Exhibition Runs January 9 – January 30, 2016
Reception: Saturday, January 9, 2016, 6-9pm, in conjunction with the East Side Art Stumble
What does art about Nashville look like if it doesn’t look like the downtown skyline? We’re set to find out. Gallery Luperca invited artists who currently live in, have lived in, or have been influenced by time spent in Nashville to create work about this place that we love in celebration all the aspects of life in Nashville WITHOUT referencing the skyline.
The resulting exhibition brings together work from artists working in mediums that range from folk art to photography to digital film. Artists include Black & Jones, David Morel(SNAP member), John Warren, Paul Collins, Lisa Haddad, Donna M. Kilkelly, Randy Toy, and Gary Johnson. More artists TBA.
An email went out today from Seedspace announcing calls for submissions for 2016. They have 3 different opportunities. Check out the information below and their website: Seedspace
Our current and ongoing exhibit space at Provence Bakery is filled with street photography images. The images for the show were selected by our juror, street photographer Robert McCurley.
